Description:
The accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing management accounts, and ensuring compliance.
Responsibilities:
Daily processing of bank accounts, loan transactions, bond and lease-to-own transactions, bad debts, etc.
Preparing VAT201 and YTD recons
Prepare management accounts
Prepare and maintain loan schedules and circulating to lenders
Loading payments for legal expenses and loan repayments
Ensuring intercompany loans reconcile monthly
Assisting with preparation of compliance documents for National Credit Regulation.
Requirements:
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2–4 years of relevant accounting experience (property or financial services sector is advantageous).
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Experience with VAT, loan schedules, and management accounts preparation.
