Description:
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee general ledger integrity and ensure accurate month-end and year-end close processes.
- Manage and review balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and intercompany transactions.
- Lead and mentor junior finance staff, ensuring high standards of accuracy and accountability.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to support statutory and regulatory reporting.Requirements:
- BCom in Accounting or Finance (essential).
- Minimum 5 years experience in a senior accounting role within the insurance industry (non-negotiable).
- Proficient in SAP with a strong command of financial systems and reporting tools.
