Job Description:
Lead and support the production of actuarial valuations for regulatory, statutory, and internal reporting purposes
Prepare and review actuarial reports, including IFRS 17, SAM, and embedded value reporting
Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial results, assumptions, and methodologies
Collaborate across finance, risk, and product teams to provide actuarial insights that inform strategic decisions
Contribute to the improvement of models, systems, and processes for enhanced reporting efficiency
Mentor junior team members and contribute to a high-performance culture within the actuarial function
Skills & Experience:
Strong technical knowledge of reserving, embedded value, IFRS 17, and capital regulatory frameworks (e.g., SAM)
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Proficient in actuarial software (e.g., Prophet, SQL, R, or Python advantageous)
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Qualification:
Nearly or newly qualified actuary with 5+ years of relevant experience in life insurance actuarial reporting
