Masterparts was founded in South Africa in August 1975 to provide auto shops and the public with an extensive range of high-quality engine parts. We currently employ well over seven hundred employees in South Africa and Namibia.

I am looking for an HR/IR Officer to perform all IR-related functions and occasionally assist with HR matters.

Duties will include:

  • Supporting and advising managers on IR-related matters.
  • Training supervisors and managers to handle all IR-related issues.
  • Creating internal training material and training managers, supervisors, and team leaders.
  • Chairing IR hearings and meetings face-to-face and online.
  • Attending to CCMA and DRC matters.
  • Ad hoc HR Generalist duties as needed.

Requirements:

  • Supporting and advising managers on IR-related matters.

  • Attending to CCMA and DRC matters.
  • Ad hoc HR Generalist duties as needed.
  • Human Resources: 2 to 3 years
  • Industrial Relations: 5 to 6 years
  • At least five years of proven experience in a similar role.
  • A relevant three-year tertiary qualification.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation.
  • Previous MIBCO and DRC exposure will be advantageous.
  • You must be able to communicate professionally in English.
  • You must have advanced-level skills in using MS Word.
  • You must be competent with all MS Office suite programs.
  • Previous experience working with Sage 300 People and EcoTime is advantageous.

You must meet the following requirements to be considered for this opportunity:

  • At least five years of proven experience in a similar role.
  • A relevant three-year tertiary qualification.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation.
