Description:
A well established organisation in Pretoria that specialises in Electronic Equipment for the Mining industry has a vacancy for a Technical Field Manager who will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all technical field operations.
Manage a team of Field Technicians.
Ensure timely and high quality installations.
Liaise with Clients and internal departments.
Support business development.
Adhere to safety protocols and drive service delivery.
Site managment and ensure completion of tasks in line with project schedules.
Conduct pre and post work and keep record of this.
Submit reports to the Project Manager.
Perform Quality audits.
Engage with Clients.
Responsible for general administration, including time sheets.
Oversee installations.
Provide training on equipment usage.
Conduct site audits and prepare quotes with regards to Fibre.
Work load distribution.
Assign daily tasks and assist with productions.
Review time sheets.
Conduct technical surveys.
Assist with identifying new business opportunities.
Assess technical systems on site, advise and upsell new products, technology.
Enforce health and safety rules.
Requirements:
Matric.
Previous experience in business development and project management in a technical environment.
Client interaction.
Technical survey expertise.
Experience in project costing, equipment managment and providing Clients with quotes.
Familiar with technical equipment and sales training.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Must be able to travel.
Valid drivers licence and own transport.
