Responsibilities:The Quality Control Manager is responsible for ensuring manufactured products meet set standards of quality, reliability and performance. Your job entails setting and implementing internal/external quality requirements to ensure company products meet customer expectations.
In performing your duties as a quality control manager, you will have to conduct assessments of company production processes to develop in-house quality policies, procedures and specifications.
You will have to ensure manufacturing processes comply with cGMP standards of production.
Your role requires you to collaborate and manage quality personnel to implement procedures, systems, and standards of operation.
You would need to implement and monitor quality control standards to ensure consistent product quality. This includes the verification of the carrying out of the in-process check pertaining to production & packing of quality products.
You are required to conduct quality audits to make sure set quality policies and procedures are being adhered to.
You would oversee the recruiting and training of quality control personnel to ensure an effective work unit. Organize training for quality control staff to enhance their skill and knowledge of product quality requirements.
You need to establish and manage procedures and processes for sampling, recording and reporting of quality data.
You will assist external quality auditors in coordinating on-site audits.
You would need to maintain proper records and documentation of quality tests and other quality-related activities.
You need to present to senior management reports of quality operations. Collecting and compiling relevant quality statistical data is also part of the Quality Control Manager description.
Enforce compliance to the standards for health and safety
Solicit response on where quality can be improved.
Propose recommendations to company management on ways to improve on existing quality processes
Collect, compile, and analyze relevant quality statistical data to obtain information regarding quality performance
Supervise IPQC personnel and cleaners to ensure they perform their duties in line with established quality procedures
Report quality control improvements or upgrades
Present product release form for approval or rejection
Maintain proper records of quality test, procedures and standards.
Requirements:
Requirements:Bachelor’s degree and have prior experience as a quality officer or manager.
Able to work with team of quality assurance personnel to make sure raw materials and final products meet set standards of quality
Adept at planning and developing standards, procedures, and best practices for ensuring product quality.
Some of the skills and qualities you will need to succeed include analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ensure product development processes adhere to quality policies i.e
Evaluate final trial specifically for IPQC prior to the creation of a master document.
