We have an amazing opportunity for 2x Junior Payroll Officers to join our team in Umhlanga, Durban. Do you think you have what it takes to be our newest Purple Star?
The successful candidate will be responsible for the financial administration of the company’s payroll system whilst maintaining strict confidentiality standards. Administers and maintains the Payroll System to ensure all Engagements, Movements and Terminations with applicable documents are integrated correctly from the HR System. Responsible for timely and accurate delivery of payroll and internal customer service, including recordkeeping and reporting. Provides accounting and project management support to Finance.

You Bring
- A minimum of 5 years exposure in a payroll related position
A Bonus To Have:

- Intermediate Excel experience
What You’ll Do For The Brand:
- Engagements - Ensure all new engagements recurring financials are added onto the recurring payslip including provident fund where applicable and ensure leave scheme accruals are correct.
- Movements – Global Transfers – ensure payslips and leave schemes, balances and future dated leave applications are transferred to the new profile.
- Movements – transfer changes i.e. salary changes/promotions or additional allowances has been updated on the payroll system.
- Terminations – Leave balances are updated before processing leave encashment.
- Ensure all basic profile and manager information matches approved documentation
- Prepare required legislative documentation correctly and timeously e.g. UIF documentation or BCEA5
- Applicable Custom Forms on the Payroll System is executed for Engagements, Movements and terminations to ensure all checks are done.
- Checking of transactions uploaded by the time and attendance officers.
- Checking of subsistence claim forms to payslips to ensure correct allocations.
- Assist with preparing spreadsheets, consolidated payroll packs and related checks where required.
- Assist with processing, reconciliations and reporting as required.
- All internal customer queries to be logged and resolved within 24 hours.
- Assisting with Payroll Support Administrator duties where required.
- All integration errors, quality issues, or deadlines not met are logged on the Quality Alert Tracker on MS Teams and to follow through with resolution.
- Apply the internal customer experience payroll training when dealing with your internal customers.
- Adhere to all Payroll deadlines daily/weekly and monthly basis.
- Keep abreast of all changes within the Payroll department.
- Live and apply the Hollywood Group values.
- Confidentiality of all Payroll information is to be maintained at all times.
- General admin duties and reporting as required.
- Additional Adhoc functions may be required.
