Agile Project Manager (Cape Town)

Description:

We are looking for a seasoned project manager to lead and deliver high-impact projects across our organisation and client base. If you thrive in driving complex initiatives from concept to completion—and have experience in financial services—that’s a strong advantage!


About you:

You are a confident and capable project manager with 5+ years of hands-on experience delivering both IT and business projects. You hold a relevant degree in project management, business administration, computer science, business science, or engineering, and you’re fluent in methodologies like PMBOK, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, SAFe, and Kanban.

You’re not just a planner—you’re a strategic leader who can align stakeholders, manage risks, and deliver results. Your communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills are second to none, and you’re comfortable navigating ambiguity while keeping your team focused and motivated.


Key responsibilities:

Lead and manage the full project lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, budgets, and resource allocations.
Proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues to ensure smooth delivery.
Ensure all projects align with client methodologies and industry best practices.
Facilitate project meetings, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure deliverables meet quality, time, and budget expectations.
