We’re expanding and looking for a passionate Sales Engineer to join our growing team, working alongside experienced professionals to deliver cutting-edge solar solutions to commercial and body corporate clients. What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial and sectional title clients through referrals, lead generation platforms, and after-sales engagement to drive solar energy adoption.
  • Collaborate with engineers to draft accurate solar savings estimates and conduct system analyses, integrating tailored financial modeling.
  • Support the Senior Sales Engineer by engaging with existing commercial and sectional title clients, attending site meetings, and contributing to tailored solar energy proposals.
  • Present customized solar proposals and Return on Investment (ROI)-driven solutions aligned with technical feasibility and financial benefits.
  • Deliver high-quality presentations that position our solar offerings as long-term, value-driven investments.
  • Work closely with internal departments such as metering, generator, and solar teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical documentation and project handovers to ensure clarity and continuity across teams.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory updates, and technological advancements to support client discussions and enhance solution offerings.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • BEng, BSc or BTech qualification in Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering

Experience and Knowledge:

  • Strong technical understanding of solar PV systems, inverters, and energy storage solutions
  • Client-facing with strong confidence in promoting and converting leads
  • Excellent interpersonal and client-facing communication skills
  • Ability to interpret technical
  • Commercial acumen with strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Comfortable working independently and managing their own pipeline
  • Strong presentation and proposal-building skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and deadlines
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and eager to learn
  • Problem-solving mindset with a solutions-oriented approach
  • Ability to work well with cross-functional teams, including engineering and operations
  • Willingness to travel locally for client meetings and site visits

Specific Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle
  • Clear credit, criminal, and health records
  • Solid, verifiable written references

💼 Working Hours:

Monday – Friday | 08:00 – 17:00 (45-minute lunch)
Flexi-time available between 07:00 and 18:00 with manager approval.
