As Hotel Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and productive operation of several key departments, including Guest Relations, Concierge, Reservations, Front Office, and Housekeeping. You will also play a crucial role in managing the Heads of Departments within your division, overseeing their performance management, discipline, coaching, and development. Effective communication across all departments within Xx is paramount, as is ensuring that all information from the Principal Manager is cascaded accurately to your team. Adherence to the Xx Pledge is a fundamental aspect of this role.
Your responsibilities will include:
Creating a welcoming hotel environment for customers, maintaining high standards of service, meals, and housekeeping that align with the company’s expectations. Ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel, its facilities, infrastructure, services, and functions. Managing all staff reporting to this position, providing effective assistance, training, development, motivation, and monitoring of their activities. Maintaining a safe, harmonious, and enjoyable workplace environment for all staff members. Leading by example with a positive and enthusiastic approach. Collaborating closely with the Relief/Assistant Manager to build a strong and cohesive management team. Communicating and reporting to senior management regularly, adhering to company requirements. Developing a thorough understanding of the manager’s duties and ensuring they are executed to the company’s standards.The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
