Description:
Completed Matric is essential, coupled with 5+ years related experience in Shipping is essential. Manage the co-ordination, documentation, exports / imports and related communication in terms of planning and shipping; provide shipping instructions to shipping agents; track all shipments to ensure compliance and on time delivery; imports - book stock into inspection after costing is done; exports / imports - receive and process service provider's invoices for payments; ensure compliance with all export / import regulations and legislation; maintain consistent and accurate communication to the Sales Team and customers; arrange inspections and necessary certificates; general administration and filing; manage import / export schedule; oversee and co-ordinate export / import orders; gather and distribute kay information relevant to the internal departments as well as customers; negotiate shipping and transport rates as required; identify alternate and cost effective shipping options; compliance with all legislative regulations and ensure all SHEQ and audit requirements are strictly adhered to.
