Piekenierskloof Wines, situated in Citrusdal, has the above opportunity for an innovative and resourceful person to join their team as Digital Marketing & Sales Officer.

The position will be based at the office in Citrusdal, but also involves traveling to clients.

The incumbent will be responsible for the development and/or creation, implementation, execution, and management of activities relating to inter alia digital marketing, social media strategies and campaigns, copywriting, the administration and promotion of tourist/visitor information and/or awareness, client services, and attending to client services relating to online sales and local sales from the West coast region.

Duties will include (but not be limited to): *Digital Platforms, Social Media and PR: Client & community online engagement, Social media strategy & execution, Content creation & management (social media, newsletters, etc.), Digital Marketing & SEO, PR & Brand Communication, Website management, Wine Club Management, Admin & reporting. *Sales Representation: Recruitment of new clients and maintaining relationships with existing clients in the West Coast region, handling of orders & sales administration *Event Coordination: Planning and coordinating company events; managing promotional materials and marketing merchandise *Assisting in tasting room when needed *All other tasks related to the role.

In return, our client offers a remuneration package that includes a combination of basic salary & commission.

Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:
• Matric required, a relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous;
• Approximately 2-3 years' experience in a similar position in the wine/beverage/
FMCG industries;
• Strong website/social media skills;
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills (Afrikaans & English);
• Excellent computer literacy (MS Office, EzyWine);
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.
