About the Role:

As our Interviewing Assistant, you’ll be the first point of contact for potential new hires. Your job is to conduct initial screening interviews via Zoom, assessing each candidate’s suitability and presentation. You’ll be managing your own calendar, conducting interviews in line with team goals, and sharing detailed notes and insights with our Senior Recruiter for the next stage of the hiring process.

This is a fully remote, flexible role perfect for someone organised, confident on video calls, and skilled at reading people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct virtual (Zoom) interviews with prospective candidates.
  • Assess and record key candidate information including skills, experience, and suitability for roles.
  • Manage and maintain your own interview calendar and scheduling tools.
  • Prepare and pass on comprehensive notes and summaries to the Senior Recruiter.
  • Maintain a professional and welcoming candidate experience throughout.
  • Provide feedback and insights to improve the screening process.
  • Support with light administrative tasks related to recruitment as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confident using Zoom and managing online interviews.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage your own workload.
  • A good judge of character with an eye for spotting talent.
  • Reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional remote working setup.
  • Previous recruitment, HR, or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
