Description:
We are appointing an Internal Sales Consultant for a leading distributor of technologies such as Wireless Broadband, Wi-Fi, Networking, Routing, VoIP, IoT, Fibre, Access Control and IP Surveillance.
Responsibilities:
· Would be required to communicate with customers in person, by phone or email and provide quotations in line with customers’ requirements.
· Stay up to date with company product portfolio and market trends to confidently provide solutions to customers.
· Would be required to establish and build relationships with new and existing customers.
· Manage the sales cycle and complete all necessary sales activities.
· Would be responsible for the processing of orders for customers and ensuring it’s followed through to the point of completion.
· Candidate should be target driven and able to work under pressure.
Requirements:
Experience:
· Minimum 1-2 years of sales experience in a similar role.
· Experience with a CRM system e.g. SAP.
· Experience in the IT/ICT Industry would be advantageous.
· Experience in Wired and Wireless Networking, VoIP, IP Surveillance, Internal Sales, or a Call Centre environment (Advantageous).
Qualifications:
· Grade 12/ Matric (Compulsory).
· CompTIA N+ Required or other Networking related qualification.
· Relevant tertiary qualification advantages (Degree or Diploma).
Soft Skills:
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
· Ability to communicate efficiently in Afrikaans is a must.
· Demonstrate strong work ethics.
· Show ability to communicate effectively.
· Strong interpersonal skills.
· Possess Problem-Solving skills.
· Must be a team player.
· Deadline Driven.
