Qualifications and Experience
Matric A recognized and relevant technical qualification (Typical S4 or N6. Electrical or Mechanical Engineering) At least 3-5 years work experience in the diesel generators industry, with experience in a similar position being preferred. CAD experience will be an advantage. Computer Literacy Microsoft Office and MS Projects. A code 8 drivers licenceProposals / Sales
Take responsibility for tender documents and quotations within the organization. This will include costing schedules. Ensure that tenders and quotations meet the company and the customer''s commercial terms and conditions. Review customer specifications to ensure compliance (commercially and technically). Assist the Business Development team with technical clarifications and evaluate design complexity for costing purposes. Review and interpret SLD (Single Line Diagrams) for costing purposes. Summarize tenders for ease of evaluation. Conduct site inspections if required as part of the tender process and gather all necessary information needed to compile an accurate quotation / tender document.Customers
Assist external and internal customers with technical queries. Provide technical support to customers. Ability to do product launches and exhibit trade shows. Build and maintain customer relationships and generate new business.Other
General Sales administration Continuously improve internal systems and procedures. Product training (internally & externally)
