Description:
Duties- Financial Record Keeping & Reporting Maintain accurate financial records for transactions, expenses, and revenues.
- Prepare financial statements.
- Ensure financial data accuracy by reconciling accounts and verifying entries. Taxation & Compliance Prepare and file tax returns (corporate, VAT).
- Stay updated on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
- Work with auditor and tax authorities during audits.
- Budgeting & Financial Planning Support Assist in budget preparation and expense monitoring.
- Support management in forecasting and financial decision-making.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and financial risks.
- Internal Controls & Risk Management Implement financial controls to prevent fraud and errors.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with policies.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS).
- Work with auditors to maintain transparency in financial reporting.
- Commercial Support Risk management
Qualifications and experience
- National Diploma or Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 3-5 years experience in finance or equivalent role.
Intermediate MS Office (Word & Excel) & ERP experience i.e Navision Understanding of end-to-end financial accounting best practices and systems. Problem-Solving, Decision-making Analytical, Attention to detail Time Management
