Our client, based in Paarl, is seeking a dedicated individual with strong leadership capabilities and excellent commercial knowledge to join their team as Sales Manager.The Sales Manager will be responsible for managing the entire Sales team and process to drive revenue growth, maximizing sales opportunities and developing business in new and existing markets.
Key areas of responsibility will include: *Creating and executing a strategic sales plan to expand the company’s customer base and enter new markets *Managing the sales team, setting objectives, training, coaching, and monitoring performance*Establishing sales objectives through forecasting via a sales process *Ensuring the development of new business relationships & customer satisfaction *Ensuring client retention to achieve business targets *Ensuring weekly activity reporting regarding sales activities with the entire sales team *Ensuring that sales targets are met*Providing market and industry-specific solutions to clients *All other tasks related to the role.
Essential qualifications, skills and experience:
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Sales/Commerce/a related field;
• 10+ years of experience in managing sales in a corporate setting, including experience in the label printing industry;
• Proven record of success with the entire sales process, from planning to closing;
• Excellent interpersonal skills (Afrikaans & English);
• Good computer literacy (MS Office, specifically Excel);
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.
