The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Conceptualising, designing and implementing online training, learning and leadership development programmes that address the Party’s needs
  • Coordinating and managing the DA’s online learning platform(s) that house DA learning programmes, to ensure learners can engage in innovative and excellent online learning
  • Ensuring the online systems are up to date, safe to use, and integrated with the Party’s systems
  • Coordinating functions, projects, and programmes that support the DA as a learning organisation
  • Developing innovative and engaging curricula, course materials and assessments, which can be used for development initiatives for the Party’s public representatives, activists and staff

Minimum requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification
  • 2 years’ experience working with Moodle, Articulate (including Rise), or other online course creation software used to develop courses for the Moodle platform
  • Experience in conducting thorough research and developing well-structured, engaging course content
  • Experience with user testing and feedback collection
  • Project management experience
  • Computer literacy, particularly MS Office Suite, Zoom, Canva, and any other design software being advantageous

Abilities:

  • Manage multiple tasks with competing levels of priority
  • Outcomes-orientated, not simply task-orientated
