Job Purpose
The IT administrator will be responsible and accountable for the smooth running of all computer systems,
servers, networks, and other IT infrastructure. Providing technical assistance to users. Keeping up-to-date with
the latest IT trends, technologies, and security best practices
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and administrate information technology and computer systems
• Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations
• Manage and administrate SYSPRO (ERP System)
• Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures
• Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
• Act in alignment with user needs and organisational policies
• Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions on time
• Audit systems and assess their outcomes
• Preserve assets, information security and control structures
• Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness
• Critical Skillset: MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer), A+ and N+ qualification usually
cover this:
• Windows server environment (Server 2019 and above) – Administration of domain controller,
Active Directory, Group Policies (Setup and deployment of Apps via GPO), Security Policies
(multifactor authentication setup).
• Hyper-V virtualization. Creation and administration of VM’s (including backup and restore)
• Microsoft Remote Desktop server. Deployment and administration of RDP via RDS)
• Firewall. Setup and administration of firewall rules. Setup and administration of VPN access.
• Switches and WiFi access points. Configuration and Administration.
• SQL Servers including SQL scripting
• Desktop Support
Qualification Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Diploma in Information Technology
Minimum 5years working experience as an IT Administrator
Knowledge & experience in SYSPRO, Azure, SharePoint, SQL Servers including , SQL Scripting,
Power BI
Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network
installation
