Responsible for executing the sales operational plan, building and maintaining relationships with customers and suppliers, managing key accounts, and driving new business development. This position also requires the individual to invest in personal growth and uphold the values of Van Wyngaardt.

Ensure consistently allocated sales budget are met, closely monitoring sales performance. Analyse and assess the potential of existing and prospective customers to maximize sales opportunities. Provide detailed monthly reports regarding the status of the sales plan, identifying areas of success and opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with management to adapt strategies as needed.Build and Maintain Relationships
Focus on fostering strong, lasting relationships with key customers to increase loyalty, repeat business, and referrals. Establish effective communication with suppliers, ensuring smooth operations, product availability, and timely deliveries. Be proactive in managing key accounts by addressing customer needs, managing expectations, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Act quickly and effectively in addressing and resolving any customer complaints or issues to maintain positive relationships.New Business Development
Reach out to potential customers through cold calls, email outreach, and networking to generate new business opportunities. Conduct market research to uncover new market opportunities, trends, and customer needs that align with Van Wyngaardt product offerings. Identify and engage dormant or inactive accounts, exploring opportunities for reactivation and resuming sales. Work closely with the finance team to assess potential for expanding the product range and explore pricing strategies to drive business growth.Product Sales:
Consistently meet or exceed the assigned monthly sales targets, ensuring company goals are achieved. Ensure that sales activities are aligned with company profitability targets by maintaining appropriate margins on all product sales. Effectively manage the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely payments and minimizing outstanding debt.Personal Development:
