With seven branches across South Africa, two in Botswana, and a Head Office in Pretoria, they are market leaders in their field and continue to expand their national footprint.The company is seeking a driven and technically skilled Technical Sales Representative in the Kimberly area to promote and grow their presence in the Northern Cape province, particularly within the mining and industrial sectors. This role requires a proactive sales professional with strong industry knowledge and the ability to build long-term customer relationships. Key Responsibilities:- Register the company as an approved vendor with mining and industrial clients across the Northern Cape
- Promote and sell company services to both new and existing customers in the region
- Represent the company’s Diesel/Motor Engineering and Field Services capabilities locally
- Collaborate with internal divisions and distributors to grow regional sales
- Service key sectors, including mining and construction, with a focus on diesel engines, motor engineering, and truck rebuilds
- Travel regularly throughout the region and beyond, as needed
- Identify and report on sales leads, tenders, and quotation opportunities to the Branch Manager and Group Operations Manager
- Submit weekly reports detailing client visits and outcomes
- Maintain and update the customer database in coordination with the Proposals team
- Monitor competitor products, pricing, and strategies, and report findings internally
- Complete weekly sales lead reports and assist with all related administrative functions
- Matric certificate with proficiency in English and Afrikaans
- Technically inclined and target-driven
- A recognised technical qualification in Diesel or Petrol mechanics is advantageous
- 3–5 years of technical sales experience in the mining industry, with familiarity in earthmoving or mining machinery
- Strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Windows)
- Valid driver’s licence
- Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Northern Cape area
- Willing to engage with clients after hours when necessary to build strong business relationships
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans – both written and verbal
