Location: North West, Bojanala Platinum District, Rustenburg
Job Type: 6 month Contract, Full-Time

Job Duties:
- Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials and parts between different departments within the mining operation
- Monitor and track the delivery schedules to ensure timely arrival of materials
- Communicate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve any delays or issues in the supply chain
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and update the database regularly
- Must have an understanding or; Track and report on Procurements for all Capital projects spend as required.
- Manage delays and bottle necks associated with Project Procurements and speeding up the flow of work and information where required.
- Monitor scheduled deliveries’ Forecasted cost vs BoQ / CBE and communicate variances upfront.
- Tracks the progress of materials and components to ensure they arrive on time.
- Communicate with Contractors, Suppliers and Vendors to stay on schedule and avoid delays.
- Coordinate between departments (like stores, purchasing, operations, project controls, planning and shipping) to keep on track with planned activities.
- Helps resolve delays due to supply issues.
- Acts as a link between the Project team and Suppliers and Contractors.
- Makes sure team members have the information they need to meet deadlines.
Education:
- Diploma in Supply chain, procurement and logistics.
Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within the mining industry
Knowledge and Skills:
- Proficiency in using supply chain management software and MS Office applications
- Understanding of procurement processes and inventory management
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Proven experience in supply chain management or logistics within the mining industry
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
