Events and Wedding Manager

Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced and passionate Events and Wedding Manager to join their team at their luxury game lodge. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all events and weddings, ensuring a seamless and unforgettable experience for guests. This role requires strong organizational skills, creativity, and a deep understanding of exceptional guest service in a unique bush setting. Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage all aspects of weddings, events, and special functions from inquiry to execution
• Liaise with clients to understand their vision and deliver bespoke event experiences
• Coordinate with internal departments (kitchen, housekeeping, guides, etc.) to ensure flawless event delivery
• Oversee event setup and breakdown, ensuring attention to detail and lodge standards
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts where necessary
• Maintain event budgets and ensure profitability
• Provide on-the-day event management and guest support

Requirements:

• Proven experience in event or wedding management, preferably in a lodge or hospitality setting
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple events simultaneously
• Strong interpersonal skills and a guest-focused mindset
• Creative flair and a keen eye for detail
• Willingness to live on-site in a remote location (accommodation provided)
• Valid driver’s license
