WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Streamline actuarial processes, systems, and tools to boost accuracy and efficiency.
- Drive innovation within the team by promoting data-driven decision-making and encouraging the exploration and adoption of advanced analytics techniques, including Machine Learning.
- Development and price strategic products and services for new and existing markets.
- Design, build, and enhance pricing / quotation tools in partnership with Product, Quotes, and IT teams.
- Conduct product and market research that informs strategic initiatives and data-driven decision-making.
- Contribute to cross-functional special projects from concept to launch, providing actuarial insight and analytical support.
- Build, maintain, and automate dashboards for robust actuarial reporting and performance monitoring.
- Work closely with and support the Product Development, Pricing, and Valuations teams on both strategic initiatives and routine actuarial tasks.
- Partner with the Investment team to optimise Liability-Driven Investment (LDI) strategies.
- Support ad-hoc actuarial projects and other duties as required.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLE?
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Good progress toward a professional actuarial qualification (if applicable), with a minimum of four technical actuarial exams completed.
- At least 2 to 4 years of actuarial, data science, or analytical experience
- Prior experience in a life, short-term, or health insurance environment is advantageous
