We are seeking a friendly and reliable Optometric Front Shop Assistant to join our team on a casual basis. This position requires availability on all weekends and public holidays. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for helping others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Manage front desk operations, including answering phone calls and scheduling appointments.
- Assist with the selection and fitting of eyewear.
- Handle customer inquiries and provide information about products and services.
- Maintain a clean and organized front shop area.
- Process transactions and manage cash register operations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills.
- Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
