Job Purpose (Introduction)
The Procurement Specialist is responsible for efficient sourcing and purchasing of goods and services (e.g., vehicle parts, operational supplies). This role demands expertise in supply chain management, market research, and contract negotiation to support the organization’s financial and operational objectives.
Minimum Requirements

Diploma in Procurement, Finance, or Supply Chain Management

3–5 years of experience in a similar end-to-end procurement role
-
Valid driver’s license

Duties & Responsibilities

Source goods and services timely and cost-effectively

Evaluate and select suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed

Negotiate and secure favorable terms; create purchase agreements/contracts

Monitor and evaluate supplier performance

Resolve quality, delivery, or pricing issues
-
Analyze market trends and procurement data for cost-saving opportunities
-
Maintain vendor relationships and ensure compliance with company policies
-
Use procurement software or ERP systems to review purchase orders
-
Track orders, manage discrepancies or delays
-
Serve as the point of contact for procurement escalations
-
Maintain accurate records of purchases and pricing

Collaborate with fleet, finance, and operations teams to forecast procurement needs
