Description:
· Liaise with Site Foremen and Site Stores regarding material requisition.
· Receiving and Issuing of Stock
· Weekly stock take – provide reports when required.
· File and maintain technical drawings.
· Liaise with Site Foremen and Clients regarding SI’s.
· Oversee delivery of materials
· Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
· Inspecting inventory for damage and faults.
· Communicating errors to relevant parties.
· Storing inventory in accessible manner.
· Preparing and completing orders (returns) and arranging with Stores for pick up
· Performing inventory controls and keeping quality standards high for audits
· Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization. - Housekeeping
· Report any discrepancies.
· Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers with material requests.
· Assist Management and HE Staff with requests i.e materials/ admin.
· Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations.
· Developing or improving upon inventory management procedures.
· Building Maintenance & House keeping
· Fleet Management
· Tool & Equipment Management
· Ad hoc duties – as listed above but not limited to.
Requirements:
- Excel: 1 to 2 years
- Car Track: 1 to 2 years
· Matric
· 2+ years’ experience in inventory control – commercial industry advantage
· Fleet Management – Car Track will be an advantage
· Basic Excel skills
· Excellent math and analytical skills.
· Good communication skills
· Good organizational and time management skills
· Physically fit
· Excellent Attendance
