Description:
Key Responsibilities:Full financial accounting function for the sports betting operations using Xero account software including but not limited to:a.) Supplier account management
b.)Maintenance of Bank Accounts and Mobile Monies Accounts and performing bank reconciliation
2. Assist with the daily, monthly and year-end processes.
3. Management of operating expenses, reconciliations, and submissions.
4. Processing accounts i.e. general ledger with full month end accounting process and reconciliations;
5.Preparation of tax packs and submissions.
6. Assist with regulatory compliance and submission of reports to Regulatory bodies, Tax filings and ensure up to date.
7. Liaise with auditors in performing year end audit and preparation of AFS.
8.Liaising with different stakeholders within the business, including but not limited to betting software providers, office managers, bankers.
9. Assist with payroll management and administration.
Behavioural Competencies
Good technical accounting skills Detail orientated. Strong knowledge of tax rules with demonstrated ability to learn these in other jurisdictions; Excellent computer systems capabilities (Excel; Xero) Great communication skills Sound knowledge of business processes; Analytical Skills Detail orientated.
