Minimum Requirements
A minimum of 5 years' experience in operations and office management roles. Experience working in community-focused organisations or development initiatives. A relevant NQF Level 8 qualification is required; NQF 9 will be advantageous. Strong strategic thinking, planning, and execution capabilities. Knowledge of governance structures, financial controls, stakeholder engagement, and document management systems. Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be instrumental in rolling out a Three-Layered Management Control Approach, consisting of:
1. Operational Management
Oversee daily workflows, payment approvals, resource allocation, and compliance. Manage a centralised document and records system. Implement strong governance and digital tools to enhance efficiency.2. Strategic Management
Support the execution of a 35 year strategic plan across key focus areas. Facilitate stakeholder engagement with communities, government bodies, and development partners. Monitor and report on project performance, governance, and alignment with strategic objectives.3. Impact Assessment and Reporting
Coordinate impact tracking aligned with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Manage data collection and reporting systems. Use feedback and performance data to drive continuous improvement and ensure transparency.
