Description:
The Route Controller is responsible for the preparation of the daily Delivery plan, monitoring the progress of Deliveries, Communicating the Route revisions to the Customer as well as the events that will have an impact on the Customers delivery.
The Key Functional Responsibilities:
· Daily Route Planning.
· Daily Vehicle Monitoring. Monitor delivery progress.
· Customer Communication.
· Daily Reporting.
Requirements:
Minimum requirements:
· Grade 12 is compulsory Degree advantageous.
· Route Controlling experience in a Transport, FMCG, Warehouse environment.
· MS office skills and Intermediate MS Excel skills required, GP and WMS advantageous.
· Route controlling systems experience.
