Well established Signage & Branding Company in Killarney Gardens has an opportunity available for a Billing Clerk | Procurement Officer.
Roles and Responsibilities of a Billing Clerk:
1. Invoice Preparation & Processing Generate and send invoices to customers or clients.
- Verify billing data for accuracy and completeness.
2. Financial Record-Keeping Maintain accurate billing records.
- Update customer accounts with payment details and outstanding balances.
- Reconcile billing issues and discrepancies.
3. Customer Communication Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and disputes.
- Follow up on overdue accounts and send payment reminders.
4. Compliance & Reporting Ensure all billing transactions comply with company policies and financial regulations.
- Generate billing reports for management review.
5. Collaboration & Coordination Work with the finance and sales teams to resolve billing issues.
- Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation.
- General admin duties
Qualifications:
· Must have valid driver’s license.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Experience:
· Billing Clerk – 2 years (Required)
· Pastel or Sage - 2 / 3 years (Required)
· Proficiency in MS Office – 2 years (Required)
· Attention to detail is a critical attribute – (Required)
Roles and Responsibilities of a procurement Officer:
Overseeing project resources. This includes ordering required materials for jobs and ensuring timeous supplier deliveries.
· Follow the purchase order procedure to ensure proper paperwork trail.
· Stock controller.
· Checking stock in and out.
· QC all stock.
· Providing feedback to all Sales Reps, regarding their PO’s.
· Be responsible for keeping everyone on task and projects on deadline, handling the logistics and keeping all parties updated on the progress.
· Maintain and build relationships with suppliers database.
· Research and investigate alternative suppliers so that we can remain competitive.
· Receive phone calls and respond to emails from clients, suppliers, and staff.
Experience:
· Procurement: 2 years (Required)
· Signage Experience Advantageous
· Microsoft Office / Office & Excel: 1 year (Required)

Salary:
· R10, 000.00 per month (depending on experience)
