Hire Resolve is partnering with a reputable and well-established short-term insurance company that is seeking a Premium Administrator to join their team in Bryanston . The successful candidate will support the Financial Manager with key premium-related processes, including refunds, insurer payments, debit order collections, reconciliations, and bank statement allocations. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with strong Excel skills and experience in premium administration within an insurance environment.Responsibilities

Notify the relevant underwriter

Cancel policies if rules dictate

Ensure clients are informed of double debits, forced debits, or cancellations
Bank Statements

Allocate all deposits reflected on the daily bank statement from the premium collection house

Manage the age analysis and communicate with underwriters
-
Take appropriate action on policies outstanding for more than 45 days
Refunds
-
Validate refund requests
-
Record and process refunds on the Policy Administration system
-
Submit refund to Financial Manager for release
Insurer Payments

Download bordereaux
-
Prepare payment schedules for insurers
-
Email bordereaux to insurers
Off-Platform / Non-Binder / No-Collection Policies

Allocate premiums received directly by insurers using commission statements as a reference
Requirements

Grade 12 or equivalent
-
Finance-related qualification preferred
-
Minimum 4 years’ experience as a Premium Administrator or Accounts Assistant in an insurance brokerage or administrator environment

Strong Excel skills
-
Experience in premium collection and bordereaux is advantageous
- Proficient in verbal and written English and Afrikaans
