TV Producer

Description:

We are looking for a versatile TV Producer with experience across content genres within our General Entertainment Department. This role This role is ideal for an all rounder producer who thrives in a team environment.

This role calls for a hands on professional with a grasp of both content and production needs. You must be used to balancing creative integrity with channel expectations, budget realities, and TV audience consumption trends. This role works closely with development, production, and post teams.

Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with production teams in developing new entertainment and drama genre show concepts, ensuring they align with audience preferences and market trends
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
• Oversee aspects of production, including pre-production, filming, and post-production.
• Equipment booking for scripted and unscripted genres
• Execute aspects of production, including pre-production, filming, and post-production.
• Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, crews, and talent agencies.
• Develop and manage production schedules and call sheets
• Monitor production processes and adjust the schedule
• Supervise pre and post-production for entertainment programms
• Budget management, creation and troubleshooting

Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years in various genres, including multicam productions, scripted and unscripted content.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia and related qualification
• Knowledge of production planning, quality control, and safety regulations in entertainment television
• TV production with a minimum 5 years’ experience (Required within the general entertainment environment)
• Experience working with both traditional TV platforms and digital platforms
• Experience working with talent, securing filming locations, permits, and understanding location requirements.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Strong understanding of traditional tv platform and digital production workflows.
• Valid driver's License (Required)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft office and production management software is a plus
• Exceptional computer literacy (Excel and Power Point proficiency)
