The ideal candidate will bring expertise in the full product development lifecycle from concept to production with a passion for cutting-edge technologies in embedded systems, aerospace, and advanced electronic design.
Key Responsibilities
Lead hardware and embedded systems development for electronic products and platforms. Manage project lifecycles including R&D, prototyping, testing, documentation, and handover to production. Design, develop, and test analog/digital circuits and PCB layouts (preferably using Altium). Architect and develop firmware in C/C++ for microcontrollers (e.g., ARM Cortex, PIC, ESP32). Integrate sensors, communication protocols (SPI, I2C, CAN, UART), and wireless modules (e.g., LoRa, Wi-Fi, BLE). Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, software, and production engineers. Provide leadership in technical strategy, design reviews, and mentoring junior engineers. Ensure compliance with industry standards and contribute to certifications and product approvals (e.g., EMC testing). Oversee and support production, installation, and technical support teams as required.Minimum Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Electronic Engineering or related field. 10+ years of experience in electronic hardware/firmware design and product development. Proven ability to lead end-to-end engineering projects from concept through to production. Expertise in: Embedded C/C++ programming RTOS, embedded Linux PCB design (Altium or equivalent) Communication protocols: SPI, I2C, RS485, CAN, TCP/IP Microcontrollers: PIC, ARM, ESP32, Atmel Strong understanding of systems integration, IoT architectures, and digital electronics. Project and team leadership experience, including client interaction and cross-functional collaboration.Desirable / Advantageous
Experience in drone systems, laser-based technologies, or aerospace projects. Familiarity with wireless power transfer systems or embedded AI. Exposure to biometric systems, smart access controls, or security technologies. Prior involvement in international engineering projects or multilingual teams.
