Provide drafting services to engineers and engineering geologists by generating plans, sketches, 3D models and detailed construction drawings Minimum of 5 years of experience in draftingOur client seeks to employ a draftsperson in the geotechnical department, based in the Rivonia office. The draftsperson would provide drafting services to engineers and engineering geologists within the department, by generating plans, sketches, 3D models and detailed construction drawings for geotechnical work.
The requirements associated with the position are as follows (mandatory):
Minimum of 5 years of experience in drafting, specifically in AutoCAD and Civil 3D Suitable drafting qualification/certificate in AutoCAD and Civil 3DPreference to candidates with the following skills and attributes:
Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills Good communication skills Dynamic, self-motivated, takes responsibility and ownership of tasks Works independently Attention to detailThe main duties associated with the position include the following:
Drafting of plans and sketches for inclusion in geotechnical reports Compiling 3D models Extracting information from 2D and 3D drawings/models Drafting of detailed construction drawings for geotechnical engineering works
