Description:
The Transport Manager will be responsible for:
- Scheduling and supervising of fleet – approximately 36 trucks and 12 bakkies
- Ensure the Controllers are continuously monitoring the fleet at all times
- Arrange with our in-house Truck Workshop or external providers to ensure vehicles are properly maintained and roadworthy
- Managing and overseeing Drivers, Administrators and Controllers
- Keep track of and account for all Diesel consumption
- Ensure that all customer transport requirements are completed timeously
- Ensure that all drivers have the correct documentation and equipment.
QUALIFYING CRITERIA
- Transportation management diploma or equivalent will be an advantage.
