Description:
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Quality control Attending breakdowns Troubleshooting fleet breakdowns Do planned and unplanned maintenance on the fleet
Qualifying experience:
A Red Seal Diesel Mechanic Qualification Minimum of 5 years post qualification working experience Experience in truck and trailer maintenance Experience on Plant machinery will be an advantage Experience in Volvo and UD trucks will be an advantage Have a valid code 8 driver’s license and a reliable motor vehicle
Qualifying Attributes:
Ability to work in challenging conditions Ability to work under pressure Ability to communicate on all levels Be deadline driven Ability to work independently and in a team Have a valid code 8 driver’s license and a reliable motor vehicle
