KEY DUTIESFinancial accounting and payroll function
Reconciling all corporate credit cards statements Assisting with the payroll preparation Processing transactions into the ERP for international timeously Assist with the preparation of the annual budget Preparation of VAT, Tax, and statutory returns and filing when due ERP
Assisting in the scope of ERP solutions per rollout Preparing/reviewing take on data Reporting on any deficiencies identified in respect of the ERP Assisting with the creation of finance SOPs and general policies
Obtaining and tailoring policies for each country Standardise policies if possible. Financial reviews
Assisting with Bi-annual financial reviews and reporting to the financial controller/Chief financial officer CAPEX/project spend tracking.
Assisting/tracking actual costs against approved budget Costing and financial changes
Understanding costing changes with the aim of standardizing policies Assisting the Financial Controller in the rollout of such policies Monthly group management accounts
Preparing/Reviewing management accounts for all countries in local currency and USD. Analysing month to month financials for each country for accuracy and reasonability. Annual budgeting
Assisting in preparation and standardisation of group templates Preparation and/or reviewing budgets prepared by finance executives. Audit
Preparing audit file for auditors (International). Being the point of contact for auditors in relation to any queries they have Reviewing AFS as prepared by auditors prior to sign off Reconcile final TB post audit to AFS and ensure accuracy. Financial health check do the checklist (risk) Effective capex projects Cash flow management for international business units REQUIREMENTS
Relevant financial qualification 5+ years in similar role
