The employer is seeking to appoint an experienced and strategic Group Finance Manager to lead and evolve their financial operations across multiple campuses.

About the Role
As Group Finance Manager, you will take charge of the overall financial stewardship of the group, providing strategic oversight and operational execution across budgeting, compliance, forecasting, risk mitigation, and reporting. This is a leadership role with both technical depth and business influence.
Key Focus Areas
Financial Leadership: Develop and implement financial strategies that support the group’s growth and sustainability objectives. Compliance & Governance: Ensure full adherence to financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies. Budgeting & Reporting: Oversee the preparation and tracking of annual budgets, monthly management reports, and variance analyses across campuses. Risk & Cost Control: Drive process efficiency, cost management, and risk mitigation measures. Audit & Assurance: Serve as key liaison with external auditors and regulatory bodies, maintaining a strong internal control environment. Team Management: Lead and mentor the finance team, embedding a culture of continuous improvement and high performance. Business Partnering: Collaborate with the executive and operational teams to enhance financial decision-making and long-term planning.
What My Client is Looking For
CA(SA) qualification is non-negotiable Minimum of 5 years’ post-articles experience in a senior financial management role, ideally within a services-based industry Proven ability to lead teams and implement financial systems/process improvements Experience within education or multi-site organisations will be advantageous Familiarity with Sage One or similar financial platforms is a plus
