ROLE DESCRIPTION:
This is a full-time, on-site role as a digital copywriter at WBWR, located in Somerset West. As a
Copywriter, you will be responsible for creating engaging and impactful marketing copy, writing
and editing content, conducting web content writing, and contributing to digital marketing
initiatives. Your day-to-day tasks may include crafting persuasive advertisements, developing
compelling brand narratives, and optimising content for various marketing channels.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Develop high-quality content for e-commerce websites, including product descriptions,
category pages, landing pages, and blog posts.
● Create engaging and persuasive copy for digital marketing campaigns, including email
newsletters, social media ads, and PPC campaigns, to drive traffic and conversions.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, marketers, and developers,
to ensure brand consistency and alignment with marketing objectives.
● Tailor content to target audience demographics, preferences, and pain points, utilising
data-driven insights to optimise performance.
● Proofread and edit content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to brand voice and
style guidelines.
● Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in e-commerce marketing and
copywriting, continuously refining skills and techniques.
QUALIFICATIONS:
● Qualification in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field.
● Proven experience (2 years) as a copywriter.
● Exceptional writing skills with a keen eye for detail and a mastery of grammar,
punctuation, and syntax.
● Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices for content optimisation.
● Proficiency in crafting persuasive copy that drives action and conversion across various
digital channels.
● Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing
multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
● Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and a knack for understanding consumer
behaviour.
