Outbound Sales Agents – Contract Roles | Start 1 June 2025 | Based in Randburg

Are you confident on the phone, skilled at handling objections, and hungry to hit your sales targets? We’re growing our outbound campaign and looking for 20 dynamic telephonic funeral cover sales agents to join our team in Randburg by 1 June 2025 .

About the Role:

Are you a natural communicator , driven by the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives? Join our team as an Outbound Sales Consultant for the funeral insurance sector , where your passion for sales and your empathetic nature will help families secure peace of mind when it matters most.

What You Will Do:

  • Proactively engage with clients over the phone to introduce funeral insurance policies tailored to their needs.
  • Build instant rapport and handle sensitive conversations with empathy and professionalism.
  • Educate clients on funeral cover options , policy benefits , and burial plans , ensuring they make informed decisions.
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales targets , driven by your competitive edge and genuine desire to help.

What We Are Looking For - Experience & Track Record:

  • Minimum of 1 year in outbound sales within the funeral or life insurance sector .
  • Proven ability to sell funeral policies , burial plans , or life cover with confidence and care.
  • Consistent record of meeting and surpassing sales targets .

Industry Knowledge:

  • Deep understanding of funeral cover , policy structures , and benefit payouts .
  • Familiarity with FAIS regulations and compliance requirements in South Africa.

Qualifications:

  • Matric (Grade 12) is essential.

Communication Skills:

  • Fluent in English and at least one other South African language (advantageous).
  • Strong telephonic sales skills with the ability to comfortably discuss sensitive topics .

Technology & Systems:

  • Proficiency in CRM systems , call centre software , and Microsoft Office Suite .
  • Ability to accurately capture client information and update policy details in real-time.

  • Empathetic and able to handle sensitive conversations with respect.
  • Resilient , target-driven, and passionate about helping clients plan for the unexpected .
  • Capable of working independently and managing time efficiently.
