Purpose:
To ensure that the picking slips are released as per procedure, correctly allocated and picking of goods is actioned.
Responsibilities:
Execute Picking Release Protocol as per agreed frequencies and ensure all pick slips released are printed accordingly. Ensure picking slips are properly distributed along the pick face/belt to enable efficient picking of stock items. Continuous monitoring of ERP system to check progress against deadlines. Assist with assembly of orders during the course of the day as activity levels permit. Release emergency pick slips by Customer as authorized by Ops Manager/Warehouse Manager Communicate emergency requests with Dispatch Section Leader to ensure follow through of order to delivery All pick slips are released for printing on time and per round as per agreed frequencies. Pick slips placed in picking slip bins as per the picking order. Run following reports regularly throughout the day to ensure no orders remain unprocessed: Order status report Order received time vs Order print time Orders are assembled efficiently and accurately. Ensure emergency picking slip actioned by assemblers Follow through on order to ensure customer receives delivery.Requirements/ Experience
