Description:
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:- Conduct internal audits on systems: FSSC2200 and IP Handling. Report writing and effective corrective action. Feedback to management
- External audits by customers and certification bodies are successful to achieve certification and supplier approval.
- Ensure world class hygiene practices as per ISO22002
- Management of the Lab, i.e. efficiency of lab equipment, monitoring of quality, record keeping, statistics etc.
- Responsible for Quality and daily product review and reporting
- Sample Analysis at External and Internal labs and the assessment of COAs with trend analysis
- Liaise with customers on Complaints, do root cause analysis, identify Corrective and Preventive actions, follow up on effectiveness and draw up graphs
- Training on the areas of responsibility
- Communication: Conduct meetings and info sessions
- Document Management
- Statistics drawn up on each aspect of the systems to measure against targets.
- Compile Business Review paper and other reports for evaluation by senior management
- Internal Audits on Environmental Management (ISO14001). Skills & Qualifications:
- Have implemented a GFSI Food Safety System and/or has at least 5 years experience as a Food Safety Quality Assurance Manager
- Outstanding Internal auditing skills on FSSC22000 (or any other GFSI System).
- Internal auditing experience on ISO14001 will be to the applicants advantage.
