A laboratory in Randburg, Johannesburg, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dental Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in the fundamentals of dental technology and take pride in delivering high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities:
Fabrication and adjustment of dental prosthetics (crowns, bridges, dentures, etc.) using traditional methods Preparation and pouring of dental impressions Model trimming and articulation Waxing, investing, and casting Polishing and finishing of dental appliances Adhering to lab protocols and maintaining quality control Assisting with general laboratory tasks and maintaining a clean, organised workspaceRequirements:
Relevant qualification or certification in Dental Technology HPCSA registration (or eligible to register) 1–2 years of experience in a dental laboratory (preferred) Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team To apply
