Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS. Ensure timely and accurate general ledger maintenance and account reconciliations. Oversee accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, and inventory accounting. Manage end-of-month and end-of-year closing processes. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies. Monitor internal controls and suggest process improvements. Support tax planning and compliance with all local, regional, and national regulations. Collaborate with business units to provide financial insights that support decision-making. Lead and mentor junior accounting staff.Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred). Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, ideally in a group or holding company environment. Strong understanding of IFRS and local tax regulations. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Sage Intacc or similar ERP systems) and Microsoft Excel. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines. Fluent in English.
