This position requires a motivated individual with the technical acumen to understand complex tooling needs and the interpersonal skills to build lasting client relationships. The role involves both account management and new business development, with the goal of delivering effective tooling solutions that improve production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the tooling and manufacturing sectors Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions Manage and grow existing accounts while actively expanding the client base Create and implement strategic sales plans to meet and exceed targets Conduct technical assessments and tooling tests to demonstrate cost and efficiency benefits Maintain up-to-date records of daily activities and report progress via the company CRM Collaborate closely with internal departments including sales, finance, and stock control Provide regular sales forecasts and updates to management during sales meetings Stay informed on product developments, competitor activity, and industry trends Uphold a professional company image in all client interactionsCandidate Requirements
Proven experience with manufacturing machinery such as CNCs, milling, and lathe machines In-depth knowledge of carbide cutting tools and their applications Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and within a team environment A track record of successful sales in technical or tooling products is advantageous
