Key ResponsibilitiesFinance & Reporting
Manage the full finance function, including bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, and supplier payments. Handle creditors and debtors, ensuring accurate records and timely transactions. Prepare and submit VAT, PAYE, UIF, SDL, and all other statutory returns via SARS eFiling. Manage all SARS correspondence and ensure compliance with tax legislation. Produce monthly management accounts, assist with budgeting and cash flow forecasting. Coordinate with external auditors and prepare for year-end audits. Ensure compliance and submissions to the Building Industry Bargaining Council (BIBC). Maintain and improve financial systems, controls, and processes. Support senior management with financial reporting and strategic input. Finance & Reporting
Process fortnightly and monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Handle staff contracts, onboarding documentation, and personnel file management. Assist with disciplinary processes, including attending to arbitrations, hearings, and CCMA matters. Support HR-related compliance in line with labour regulations and bargaining council requirements. Requirements
Proven experience in a full-function finance role, ideally in a construction, manufacturing, or project-based environment. Experience handling HR admin and labour-related matters is essential. Sound knowledge of SARS e-Filing, statutory compliance, and BIBC regulations. Strong working knowledge of Excel and Pastel.
