Purpose of the RoleTo generate sales by building relationships, managing client accounts, responding to leads, and achieving sales targets locally, regionally, and across Africa where needed. Key Responsibilities:Sales
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through networking, market research, and lead generation.
- Meet sales targets by presenting solutions, preparing quotes or proposals, and closing deals on time.
- Prepare for and conduct sales meetings, present product advantages, and negotiate effectively with clients.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to encourage repeat business and brand loyalty.
- Understand each customer’s needs to provide suitable solutions and manage expectations clearly.
- Meet regularly with customers to offer support and identify new opportunities.
- Resolve customer complaints by investigating issues and providing timely feedback.
- Submit monthly reports on customer feedback and challenges.
- Handle any post-sale issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Keep sales records updated daily using the CRM system.
- Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and submitted on time.
- Work with internal teams to prepare quotes and proposals in line with company standards.
- Track and follow up on invoices to ensure timely payments.
- Submit sales performance reports as required.
Requirements
- A qualification in Sales (NQF Level 5 or similar) is preferred.
- Relevant work experience may be considered in place of formal qualifications.
- 4 to 6 years of relevant sales experience.
- A strong sales record in the fire prevention industry or similar sector is essential.
