Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced and agile Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our internal TA team. This is an opportunity for a dynamic individual to make a measurable impact by identifying and hiring top-tier talent in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

We’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running, bring efficiency and precision to the hiring process, and comfortably engage with senior stakeholders.
The ideal candidate possesses a proven track record in technical recruitment, coupled with the versatility to confidently hire across other roles, and thrives in a high-performance environment that requires adaptability and strategic insight.


Key Responsibilities and/or output areas include, but are not limited to:
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment across technical, consulting, and corporate roles.
  • Post job advertisements on platforms such as LinkedIn, job boards, and ATS.
  • Utilize advanced sourcing methods (e.g., Boolean, networking, search engines) to identify top talent.
  • Develop innovative sourcing strategies and build strong talent pipelines.
  • Conduct screening, shortlisting, and interviews (telephonic, virtual, in-person).
  • Maintain professional networks to support future hiring needs.
  • Contribute to EE and transformation goals through inclusive recruitment.
  • Ensure accurate candidate records and status tracking within the ATS.
  • Guide candidates through the recruitment process, ensuring a superior experience.
  • Provide timely feedback to candidates and internal referrals.
  • Facilitate salary negotiations and support line managers with offer discussions.
  • Establish consultative relationships with hiring managers, providing regular updates and interview guidance.
  • Represent the TA team during onboarding and induction as needed.
  • Manage relationships with recruitment agencies, ensuring SLAs and performance monitoring.
  • Oversee vacancy management, ensuring timelines and stakeholder communication are met.
  • Maintain an up-to-date candidate database with real-time activity tracking.
  • Produce recruitment reports and dashboards to track progress and metrics.
  • Coordinate background checks, including references and qualifications.
  • Provide accurate weekly updates on recruitment activity and open requisitions.

Education
  • Matric
  • Diploma/Certificate/degree in an HR or Recruitment related field preferred

Experience and Skills required
  • Minimum of 6 years' full-spectrum recruitment experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong track record in technology and other skills sourcing for scarce, senior, and specialist talent
  • Skilled in headhunting, Boolean search, and digital sourcing across multiple platforms.
  • Proficient in ATS systems, online recruitment tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiar with emerging tech trends and their application in recruitment.
  • Working knowledge of South African labour laws relevant to hiring practices.
