Opportunity: Construction Safety Officer (6 Month Contract – Mining Project – Louis Trichardt, Limpopo)Our client, a leading multi-disciplinary engineering company, is seeking a skilled Safety Officer to join their Greenfields project in Limpopo. This 6 -month contract offers the chance to work in a high-performance environment within the mineral processing sector. Requirements- Grade 12 & NOSA SAMTRAC or NQF 5 Safety Qualification.
- Experience with MHSA regulations in mining construction.
- Computer literacy, strong communication skills, and leadership abilities.
- Valid Driver’s License and willingness to work weekends/overtime as needed.
- Ensure compliance with MHSA & OSHACT regulations.
- Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
- Enforce workplace safety standards and monitor performance.
- Deliver toolbox talks, review compliance files, and oversee safety documentation.
